What’s a reasonable price for shearing 45 ewes? They have a commercial size flock and get a gang in for the majority but I was asked to shear this flock.
Brought own Prattley, set up, take down, rolled the wool etc. Had a 14 year old on school holidays ‘helping’ push up etc.
£3/ewe? It feels steep- but not big numbers.
£100 minimum just for the shearing so if its your prattley, wrapping, pushing up etc then £40/£50 on top
