Has anyone tried one of these? I know it won’t be as good as a Heiniger one Etc but at that price thought it might be worth having in the shed!

You don't change discs.
Instead of 40 and 80 grit papers, you use a 60 grit paper and do both comb and cutter on the same disc.

The price of that is too much to take a punt on the off chance it might be ok, IMO. The motor might be ok but the disc is tiny and I bet it's an odd size spindle so you can't put a standard 14" disc on it. Expensive lesson if it's a heap of scrap.

If they were any good someone would be selling them over here, instead of being an eBay special straight from China.
Hold out and try and find a decent 2nd hand Sunbeam or Lister for £300

Edit: that disc is probably flat, too. So won't grind a hollow in your gear. No hollow, no cut
