Sheep and Volunteer Potatoes

We've got some volunteer potatoe plants coming through in our grass, how poisonous are they to sheep? Do they need to consume a lot of them before it can be harmful?
The grass has only just started to grow again nicely and don't want to check it by spraying it.

fluroxypyr will take them out quick and will have very litte efect on tbe grass

How many are there? We still have the odd potato coming up after 20 years, we also have a lot of new leys which were potato’s in the last 2 years and no problems, I’ve also got 60 ewes with free reign over a 4acre freshly harvested potato field as I have the grass either side of it and we opened the gate to clean up the hedges - all still alive.

Top them? Frost will kill them

Would have thought the sheep would ignore them unless they were very short of grass
