Sheep with nasal discharge

Sorry, I have another question :X3:
I noticed my ram was looking a little wet around the nostrils. Today it’s dried up and a bit crusty. Is this normal, and can I just clean it off?
Being new to sheep-keeping my good friend Google has thrown up nasal bots as a suggestion. He doesn’t appear to have any other issues, no problems breathing etc. He’s been with us a week. On his own at the moment before going in with the ewes. I think he is a little anxious, maybe in a period of adjustment? I think he was prob with other sheep in his previous home so he could be lonely??

Is his breathing laboured or raspy? Has he got a temperature? Is he off his food? If so you should get the vet to rule out/treat for pneumonia. If not keep a close eye to see if those symptoms develop.

No he’s breathing fine. Eating well. So just keep an eye on him? His nose looks clear now after being out in massive downpours we had last night so will see if it comes back.

Will you help clear snow?
