Shield agriculture cubicles

Well my 1st didn't do 5 years (n) yes they replaced it foc but fitting it isn't a 5 minute job and they don't pay towards that :( my replacement cover isn't fairing well, only done 4 years and it's cracking up.(n)

I have a nice laminated warranty sheet but I won't be trying for a replacement, going to get a Wilson cover.
My Bioret mattresses look as good today as when they were put in 5 winters ago. I did see some of a different make that our builder had put in on another farm at the same time, at the end of their first winter, I hate to think what they'll look like now as they weren't looking good after one winter.

I've 10 year old wilson mattress thats still as good as the day it went in,thats 10 years with cows housed 365 for 24hrs on it,shame wilsons cubicles aren't as good.

I have had Intershape mattresses 5 years and got on fine with them. Looked at them on a local farm where they had been in 7 years housed 365 and they were fine also.

I’ve just ordered from intershape, they were £1500 cheaper than the competitors and have a fitting service which suits me and a 10 year garuntee, spoke to a guy who fits scrapers this morning and he’s seen Wilson top covers splitting along the edge after 3 years so god knows who to believe. Mine are for heifers that only get housed for 4 months of the year

Difficult to believe what people say when the response is “there shite”

We put in Kraiburg mats for our youngstock last autumn, it’s not cheap but it should hopefully last a long time.

The top cover on mine had a split within 3 months which was repaired very unsatisfactorily.Three years later I had splits appearing on many beds where the cows rear hoofs met the cover when led down.Any slight tear was made worse by side shear when the cows adjusted position combined with bedding being pushed under the top sheet. They came to look at them and declared as they were in use 365 days a year they would only pay part towards the cost of a new cover. There was also a comment about wear being excessive because our cows were larger than average. After a little to and froing I decided to wash my hands of them because it did not look like the guarantee would be honored.

Thank you for the response, very useful indeed I think I’ll go back to them with this!
