Something magnetic not connected to the mains. What’s good please?
Had one of these for a over a year, very good while waiting of electrician re wiring old buildings

In container here I have an under bonnet LED light from sealey I think it is. Magnetic on each end. Sticks to the roof and is long like a strip light. Works well
Lot of automotive led stuff is 12-24v so can be run anywhere in between. Cordless drill battery as a power source lasts surprisingly long and easy changed to recharge if you can't be arsed to set up a solar panel and leisure battery.

Depends how often it's going to be used, and how much light you need.

I got a little solar light, with a remote panel, which is bright enough to read chemical labels, but definitely not bright enough to spend hours working under. It's also automatic so turns on and off with motion.

Cost about £30 from Amazon.
