silage pics ??

Very rare. Probably for the better as too many big jobs means loosing any of them can spell disaster for a contractor. Anyone will shoulder loosing a 100 acre job but heard yesterday of one loosing a 600 acre, 3 cut job. It won't close his doors but no doubt it will have a big impact on his business in general

Yeah pretty much. Most would at least spread slurry though. Crops are generally a lot heavier but the price per ac is in the region of €110. Graze, 1st cut,second cut and graze is generally what would be taken off a 'silage field' in a year.

only know a few contractors in north wales that do just grass, one from Denbigh way who does chopping and round baling, says doesn't need the stress of wholecrop or maize to deal with !
