Silage / Straw / Hay Price Tracker

anyone want to hazard a guess what 1k tonnes of forage Maize will be worth to sell this harvest in a drought hit area that has knocked a lot of dairy maize crops?

I am not really interested in getting the last few £1s out, just a bullpark figure really

Trying g to bale some wheat straw atm ...can't get it into baler very dry and brittle
Gonna try again later tonight !
I baled a field of spring barley straw for a customer yesterday which in all my old years by a country mile was the best field of spring barley i have ever baled! Yet it smashed up to less than 1 inch long when it hit the baler pickup, i had to re bale one bale as the net went around the roller's and it was all but impossible to roll it out to rebale!

Wheat in the next field and cut the same time of day/ baled in just as hot sun as the SB was fine and did not smash up at all !
