It was established way back last harvest that straw would be in short supply, and expensive. To still argue otherwise is plain stupid. And a lot depends on the weather from now on.

There's part of the problem. Bales of chaff instead of decent length straw- doesn't last near so well.My combine is an Axial Flow.
