I was in at £24 but as the farmer refusedto open a bale i could not go higher ,

Recon as our barley straw was smashed up crap this year as we bed up with the jcb we are using more bales per day than last year
Ours is all smashed up. Normally roll a bale out down the alleyway but it just rolls out where it stands. Squares are worse still can’t get any wads out to throw into pig pens. Using more straw than normal. Hoping for reasonable price for straw in Hereford next werk
