Silver surfer and "snipping"

No, not that snip !. I have the snipping icon on my toolbar , the one with a pair of scissors , Is there a way to "cut out the middleman" and print directly from the snip . I can either do a full screen snip or a section of it , but I then have to save to my docs folder , and then access that to print . Is it possible to print direct from the snip ? Or , of course , is there a different/ better prog that will allow that ? Grateful for any assistance in this .

Try left clicking your mouse and move over the area you would like to print, area should become highlited, then right click , a drop down box will appear and you can print from there

Have a search on youtube, probably easier than me trying to explain.

good luck

It works for the whole picture , no problem . I save it , right click , and then "print" from the dropdown menu . . But what I needed was a way to select a portion - say a face , or perhaps a beast from a picture , and print that direct . What I do now is bring up the snipping tool ( the pair of scissors icon ) draw a line , a rectangle or a square say round the bit I need , click on save that , and then print from the saved bit . Just a bit clumsy perhaps if there was neater way .

Pictures on sites are usually a single file, that's why you may struggle to snip the part you want without saving the picture, By saving the picture you are able to edit it to what you want and then print off

doesn't look very likely I'll be successful . Major Geeks wasn't helpful , neither was you tube . I can print the bit I need , no problem , the method I use was just a bit clumsy , that's all . It worked OK though , so, perhaps , if it ain't broke dont -------!
