Single phase motor

Hi,
Does anyone have a large capacity (approx 3.4kw) single phase motor including starter mechanism available?
Our farm only has a single phase supply and the motor on a 5” tripod grain auger that we occasionally use has had it. I’ve taken it to a motor rewinds company and they have said that the starter solenoids that are worn out are no longer available and a bespoke replacement would cost hundreds!
The auger is probably from eighties but is in good condition and only gets used a couple of times a year to empty a bin.

Would it be cheaper to convert to a petrol engine? Pretty reliable these days
Another option would be a single phase to 3 phase convertor - don't know much about them, might be worth it if you want to use other 3 phase equipment as well as the auger

Recently bought a brand new similar speck motor was only £300, not worth fecking about with secondhand at that money
