The body is made using Fiskars skimmers which were designed to have a replaceable edge.I bought 12 from a dealer who had them surplus for £3 each. You could use any similar pattern but you have to fill surplus holes and drill new ones to suit the angles you need. To replace the wearing edge I use bottom blades off commercial cylinder mowers and weld them on. They are similar in hardness to the original steel from Fiskars. To drill holes and countersink I sharpen tungsten masonry drills (SDS) to the appropriate angle on a diamond wheel. These will also countersink discs.Hi can i bring this back to the top Arcobob what do you make your skims out of ? welded a piece of mild steel on mine will try it on Saturday but do not think it will stand up for very long was thinking of making a pair out of cold rolled steel
