Sounds worse in Sask. Got chilly here last night, below -0, tried to snow about an hour ago. Wish it would just pour an inch and then warm up.

On the plus side, I seen trees with leaves starting yesterday!

They seem to have finished the harvest mostly, with ok grades, that must be a relief

They grow different crops in Sask, not sure what they've pulled quality wise. The ones in AB have gotten ok canola off this spring but wheats in the shitter.

I do tend to avoid their temperature threads since they all just repeat the same crap. Also why I try to avoid their political threads. And since that's just about the only two things they ever talk about.... I visit that forum in sporadic bursts every few months ?

Have a look at the size of the place on google earth, the scale of the plant is absolutely vast.

There even looks to be disused train tracks in and out of the plant.

I would argue that the scale of some of these processing facilities is down to pressure from the retailers.

Undoubtedly, always been thus, but the present slaughter issues are due to the processors own systems and FDA complacency.
