Has anyone got any experience of automating a sliding gate? I have been looking at the CAME BK system. Looks to me as though it should be ok for my needs.

And has anyone any pics of a simple sliding gate for 18ft yard entrance. Am dreaming of putting two or three of foam filled barrow tyres on bottom of gate an runnin them on shallow concrete channel. Am I mad??

Yes I made one a while ago, bought the CAME cantilever kit off F H Brundle, rollers, guide, track motor and everything, very good and helpful company to deal with.
