What you need to bear in mind, is there will be 3 different types of entitlement from 2015, and you will only be able to activate them on the appropriate land category.
 
So you as a third gen farmer should have 100 times that by now.

I have been given nothing as did my Father, my Great Grandfather had 8 kids, land was split, my Grandad built it back up and my Uncle got everything, my Dad rented a farm and bought one in 1996 just before beef prices collapsed.

I have to make my own way.

That will make some of those conversations even more interesting and focus the minds of purchasers I suspect some frantic buying and possible high prices for low value units
