We use microwave broadband. There's a dish up on the roof of our shed that brings in the signal and it's a lot faster than our old BT broadband.

What I have done is buy a router that you put a sim card in and use that, mobile data but stays in the house.
Another thing I do is use the data off my phone by using the phone as a hotspot.
Neither are ideal and are relatively expensive but I want to use the internet so I will pay it.

Have you added a video pass to your data sim, I did that and now the kids can watch unlimited Netflix etc and it doesn't count off the data allowance. So for £37 a month we have effectively unlimited broadband. Doesn't seem too expensive.

Btw out router is 90m away out in the field where there's a 4G signal. So you don't have to have it in the house either ( for those who struggle to get a signal in the house ).
