Pictures. It's only a couple of weeks since I had to replace the front castings of the pump after I accidentally raised the links and they pushed the shaft sideways. Also needed a new shaft guard as a consequence, seen fitted. Purely my own fault.

Had to give up around 5pm because its just a bit too wet still. The dry fields have all been done and its only the later damp/steep ones left. Got to get it finished early next week or the grass will get too long. Its already too long in drier and earlier meadows. Ideally I've got just another 30 acres to do to allow plenty of room in the tower until after first cut.
In case anyone's wondering, I've posted quite a lot over the last three weeks while waiting for the tanker to fill. It fills much much faster when I'm typing.

Had to laugh I need a charger in the cab when I’m leading slurry for the exact same reason

Not far off being cheaper to replace with a mec pump. I rebuilt mine last year, seals had gone either end of the rotor, and sucked the oil out of the resevoir at the back and out of the gearbox at the front. Had to cut off the cog on the rotor as we couldnt get it off the tapered shaft, so 2 bearings, seals, cog and a set of vanes, wasnt much change from £500 (n) seen a new mec 8 for about £850 ish.
