We got turned down also. Said we were not in a high priority area. It was oversubscribed and they didn’t want to pressure store manufacturers

So now aware of 7 no and no yes so the percentage is looking to be around 15-20% at best on this quick poll.
Unless of course they’ve sent the “no’s” out first?

I know of guy farming in Scotland whos been told he’ll be stripped of his FA in 2025 if he’s not up to standard but if they’re not giving out grants as they know the manufacturers can’t cope it begs the question that what happens to those that want to be compliant but can’t be?

Know of a couple that were turned down today. Anybody made it through to the next stage.

Yes been invited to submit a full application

Same email also stated:

“To make sure individual projects aren’t taking a disproportionate share of funding, we will limit claims at 50% of the final amount paid where this is lower than the standard cost contribution.”

Turned down also. Suspect it’s because our current storage is under requirements but still relatively new and also not in NVZ so more pressing people to approve. Might still look to sort plans out though on the off chance they do open up a further round. Now off to apply for a dribble bar, flow meter and cow mattresses, see if that’s allowed instead 😂
