Slurry pipe falls

Trying to get heifer slurry to a lagoon 220m away with 11' of fall. On with constructing a conc 6000 gallon tank to scrape into. This is 5' deep. Thinking of a pipe out of centre of floor which will drop 6' over 20' length then the rest will run level.? Will this work??

6’ in 20’ is very steep. Can you not manage an even fall over the complete distance? Too steep and the water runs away leaving the sh!t behind. Will you be making provisions for flushing out with a tanker should it block up?

Are you putting a sluice on the scrape tank to then release the 6000 gallon into the pipe ?. The pressure of the slurry when first released would be wild but I think towards the end of the tank you may end up with material sitting and drying in the level pipework which would need flushed. A constant grade would be more effective with 11' fall over 220m you could achieve a constant 1:66 grade with the same inverts. Would save a lot of digging as well !

I thought you were supposed to run slurry stuff, (channels) lever with wiers to hold say 2" of water underneath the sh!t? sh!t floats then flows?

I would consider square channels with wiers and don't bother with the collection pit? Inspection lids periodically along the way?
