Small bale wrapper

Looking at £2.20-2.50 just to wrap the things with one man and wrapper. Ideally you want at least 2 people per wrapper when wrapping little bales. Keep them weighty so they stay on the wrapper. You also want to make them a bit shorter than hay so you can compensate for the weight.

Little bale wrapping has dropped off a lot lately I've found because it's just so expensive, if people can make hay instead they will.

250/360/500mm wrap can be used on a McHale. 250 is the best as we find it covers the bale and generally wraps better. Wrap at the stack as well if possible. Chips and beer help too!

Wait a minute I have never see small bales in bags please enlighten me .only the Ken Mills and they are to small .I used to make haylage in old Nitram bags. Tie the ends

Well let's start a revolution! We don't need Elon Musk to come up with a way of doing this. Packaging manufacturers have lots of options.

Even if you do get bags for small square bales it would be a waste of time using them. The customer expects the bale to be wrapped, some even have a preference for the colour of the wrap, a bagged bale won't sell.

Farmer near me has bagging plant for hay pet trade in 5kg bags. Normally on pallets and artic load at a time. Still moans that he cannot make any money out of it as the bulk suppliers control the pet market and dictate the price.
