IMO there isn't enough active ingredient to do a good job on blackgrass but if you have a really bad BG problem & want to put it as part of an expensive stack it may sensitise BG for a later application of Atlantis/Pacifica. There needs to be a reasonable time period after applying IPU before applying SUs or they can be antagonistic.

Personally if BG is that bad I'd rather recommend glyphosate & a spring crop instead of spending ever more on vast numbers of graminicides chasing an unsustainable husbandry system.

125 g/ha of DFF is the limit but with careful label juggling you may be able to exceed this. Not recommended if the next crop will be a brassica

This product is a waste of time

Do CRD and WRAG literally have meetings on how to screw growers on old chemistry whilst ensuring any lingering resistance issues are fully stamped in at 15% dose rates.

Prob just enough to breed resistant wild oats to substituted ureas (this can't help the sister chemistry of sulfynlureas)

I wouldn't be wanting to exceed it just worried about the amount you get with your FFCT, PDM, IPU etc. On a similar note is there a product worth applying to WB post em? Bearing in mind it had FPU, FFCT PDM and DFF pre-em. I also don't want a lecture about how I shouldn't be winter cropping thanks, half the farm is being spring sown and this is a new piece of ground where I was unaware of quite how high the BG pressure was when I planned the rotation............

In the middle.
The last bit of ipu we had to use up before the ban was mixed with axial and adigor at about half litre to the ha and made the axial work well. I think it was the last time I sore axial actually work with very good results.

No lecture I promise! :D

You have already used most of the options! If you want to use the whole lot, max rate flufenacet is 360g/ha. Other than Avadex & Axial pre 2 leaves on the BG there isn't anything left unless CTU is approved on barley.

Tower contains CTU, PDM & DFF and its approved on winter barley but must be on before the end of October. I trust you haven't already applied the max doses of these.
