How many rural areas like mine still have a Tory MP ,so will we have no say as I can’t see them taking any notice of the few Tory MPs over building, turbines and and anything else that is going to land grab.Round here labour were never going to get in .

That's a good thing.
I believe The State should be able to force national interest infrastructure projects through with minimal interference from people with too much spare time on their hands.
That is where half the money gets wasted.
Green Belt just means painted gyppo type ponies, and a sh1tshow of red and white oil barrels and blue tarps.

Not saying it is or isn't a good thing , certainly wouldn't want nimbys if the project was on our place 👍

Just need to watch things don't go " china style " though

Will things change that much,
10 yrs of Blair, we all survived, plus all talk at the moment, existing conditions of planning will take yrs to overturn, along all the other changes implied,
When Blair was in power actual farming was quite fun.
25 years later we're all looking for a way out.
Would the last farmer to leave the country turn the lights out.

Rachel Reeves said they wanted to get Britain building again. Here in Cornwall they haven't stopped mates on who drive machines on sites have had endless work for the last few years. At RCS this year it was noted by several people how many firms had construction stands there. Who and how many more can they build?
