My internet went down last night approximately between 9pm and 10.30pm. Router flashing and land line beeping, everything else normal. I was a bit worried as I live alone in a fairly remote location and the internet is really my main means of communication with the outside world. The only people I could contact were electricty suppliers as I have a nnumber for power outages. A realy nice man tried to help although this wasn't a power issue. Lots o recorded messages, "Contact us through our web site" (Duh!) or "Phone back during office hours". All very helpful (I think not!). Then everything came back 1.5 hours later.

Then I hear of R4 this morning about this (?) being a world problem. But nothing that I could see on TFF. Anyone else?

Supposedly an update to Crowdstrike (apparently an antivirus program used by major corporations) which had a glitch and took out Windows programs

Something like a vaccine which is supposed to protect against the virus started behaving like the virus and started killing everything it came into contact with. At least now the world knows who uses primarily Windows and can target them specifically based on what operating system they use.
