Is that linseed straw not wrapping around any discs you have on your drills @Fish @EddieB and nackering the seals on the bearings? I don't like balers/baling but I always want my linseed straw baled or burnt and i'm cultivating.....

Not having any issues with it wrapping around the hubs on the discs, all flowing through well. Penetration isn’t ideal where there are particularly thick clumps of straw, but overall I think the results are ok.

No problems at all, just flows straight through, looks untidy but who cares, it doesn’t effect the crop and by spring that straw will have just about disappeared.

I have long had a hankering to farm in the Clun valley for some reason, possibly from when I was doing NVQ work for Walford, and visiting some students on farm, and I really got to know my home County even better. Just seemed.... nice.
