Social media farms to follow

@farmersoftheuk on twitter is good because you get someone new every week then you can continue to follow your favourites. It's also interesting to follow a few from other parts of the world, so @farmsoftheworld was a good starting point in the same way but no longer operational although historic content still there. And you MUST follow @theMerl (even though you are in Scotland) which has to be one of the best and funniest twitter accounts EVER.

The Merl’s account is amazing. It’s only 45mins up the road. I’m into history and have pencilled in a visit as a post lambing treat to myself.

Gibson Pastoral is a good one for facts and figures following a well run kiwi farm

Drumgoon, Kinnard, Milk sourse If you want an insight into massive scale Wisconsin and Dakota dairying

Bryan Gibson is a regular visitor to the uk and every few years calls in to see my brother as he worked next door to them in the 80’s

@Agoftheworld twitter is the current international one that has a different farmer each week so sometimes some good dairy ones on it, all interesting anyway.
