Solar battery charger.

Could someone point me in the right direction for a solar panel to keep a battery charged on a 5 joules fencer please.
Or to put it another way which one do I need and what else needs to come with it.

eBay or Amazon is your friend.

Something like this. Put the controller in a dry location... I mount mine under the panel, out of the weather, but best to just find a waterproof controller.... Aslo seen a tupperware box used, but need to be careful of allowing heat to be dumped from the controller...

I make a frame out of two fence posts, then 2 rails at 45 degrees nailed to the posts, and then cable tie the panel on the diagonal.

i found these
charge controllers are better than the common or garden ones ,they have tails of wire instead of fiddly little no very strong clamps like the others that are easy to over tighten and jigger up.

look a lot better quality in your hand.

I use ibc 's a s a mount . the cage to set the panel on and the plastic container ,which when cut in half and used as lid and boittm will keep all the elstrics/ including energiser and battery together and dry .
theres various ways of cuttung and fixing them.

decent size leisure battery is worth getting for high power energiser.

last panel i bought for our solar thermal pump was this ..

got one of them on a fencer as well as 3 theres ranging from 75w to 100 w

others was bought from photomic universe ,used Amazon as agents as much as anywhere for them companies delivery tends to be cheaper.
