You will need a solar panel and a wind turbine, which they will steal!
Solar PIR lights are surprisingly good for small areas like a gate - but they will still get nicked within moments?
I'd look at keeping the kit separate. If it's all wired together it's easy to follow the wires and remove it all.
Expendable solar PIR lights on the gate, two solar 3g/4g camera set further away to record efforts to open the gate or take the PIR lights. Don't get top of the range, you may need to replace them.
