I think it is about £1500 to 2000 extra for that system but returns 25 to 30 % moreTrackers can double the output if they track in both dimensions and season, so going from vertical East at Dawn through South 55 degrees at noon midsummer etc.
Their are a few about but the install cost is very high.
Their is a small solar farm fitted with them, near me and I would love to see the output figures but have never been able to
No doubt money for money panels win every time over machinery. However if you are limited by the DNO, this gives an option to generate far more power over a far longer day than conventional mounting. When we put panels in one of the attractions was no moving parts. Suspect if you took the extra cost of trackers & bought extra panels with that money you would be better off.
yes that is very ture, will work it out and see what we do. it is for a new build so not that interested in exportingWhen we put panels in one of the attractions was no moving parts. Suspect if you took the extra cost of trackers & bought extra panels with that money you would be better off.

Yesand all the gulls sit on the back and crap on it as they leaveDepends how you do your panels but if you have panels on a pond its the raft that rotates so no moving parts unless your really posh and have a deck chair arrangement which you alter the pitch once a month.
