Will be stitching 30ha in as soon as this weather has blown through. Forecast now doesn't look to bad and what was going to be 50mm of rain over a few days now looks to be around 20mm. Hopefully we'll get it done late next week.

Neighbours going on Monday. Some combi drilling into ground ploughed before Christmas, some Claydon drilled into failed Claydon drilled stuff. I am not sure either option will have enjoyed the 22mm that fell yesterday or the 20mm that is forecast for tomorrow. Still very wet underfoot.

I will let you know how my Feb drilling goes. Just finished drilling 250 acres of wheat, last night. Mostly drilled with a sprinter and some re-drill / patch-up drilled with an avatar. I have never planted winter wheat in Feb before. 🤞
Fingers and toes crossed here. It was a lot of effort to get the above in.

Just been to check on the wollies in the Lambing shed and it's misery out there.

My neighbour did some drilling last week, not asked what but after today’s deluge I think I will struggle, if it’s not already in the brook
