spare turnip ground

hi we have some spare ground, prob around 30 acres, a 10 and a 20. we have run out of lambs as they have all gone fat.
whats this ground worth for lambs per head, checkered and un checkered? own fencing all ready there.
only downfall is its not that dry but its done our lambs ok!

It;'s worth whatever you can get for it now I would have thought. A lot of store finishers will surely be banging lambs out as fast as they can now, like you have. A warm week will see those turnips starting to bolt, pushing up woody stems and losing feed value rapidly.

Have you got any ewes you can turn onto them? Or spray them off and returns the nutrients for the following crop (assuming that's yours).

Got plenty of ewes but dont want to be changing diet too much and the 10 acres would mean moving in the trailer less than 3 weeks ill lambing...
