Sparex Euro brackets don't fit!!

Today I tack welded a sparex Euro bracket onto a modified muck grab which is just as well I only tacked because the top is too wide but will just about squeeze in but the bottom holes for locking don't line up at all
is this common practice as this is first euro brackets I have done

I have discovered the brackets are Euro 8

Yes pretty common. Everyone in the world is knocking out cheap euro brackets. Tolerances are terrible on some.
I had a batch of Irish made that didn't fit a genuine quicke headstock but fitted other non quicke headstocks
