Speed Increase in International (Case) or IHC 895 xl how?

I recently bought IHC 895 XL with four wheels drive. Transmission 4 gears + two ranges. (Revers at the steering wheel) I have such a problem The tractor travels at a maximum speed about 25Km / h (apparently there were two versions and I got the slower one. What elements need to be changed in the gearbox to get the version with a fast transmission about 40 Km / h without destroying four wheels drive ? Regards

I don’t think there is much you can do.

@Gapples knows IH stuff!

Quite correct, buy one with a fast transmission, you are looking at a different crown wheel & pinnion plus different gears in the transmission.
It's not as simple as changing a couple of gears like it is on a 5100 series.

The only thing you can do is change the wheels. we used to run a CX on 12 x 48 row crops and she would motor on those, legal speed was about 1500 rpm.
you must change all 4 wheels to keep ratios right.
do not forget though unless you are in a flat area you will gain very little on travel times if you are towing any load

This is a question for Case 895 ownersand @Gapples. Maybe I have something damaged in the tractor (the clutch is OK). Maybe there is some torue amplifier - or something like that .I have feling so sometimes I heare noice from front gearbox (maybe from clutch bearing) but when I put gear 4 with loaded big trailer- tractor engine goes out .(to fast gear for that load )
I have the impression that the tractor is twice faster backwards than forward (on both ranges -*turtle and rabbit *)--- that keep me thinking about it

Your correct that there is two boxes, but you have the slower one. The other one is 16/8 and does about 35k.
