or do what dad done, spray smallest feild with water n see how much you use at a speed that suits

I often object to the ever increasing rules and regulations we have to adhere to, particularly some of the "training" we have to have. CPC is one and the PA1 etc. is another.
It riled me that I had to go off and have a test to prove I knew how to do what I have been doing for years.

Having read various comments on this and other threads about some farmers attitudes to chemicals I'd say we deserve all this stuff. Apart from the seemingly few people that appear to know how to use sprayers and chemicals most just don't have a clue or are totally cavalier about the whole job. Sniffing Cymag, mixing unknown chemicals together and pouring them on weeds, driving around a whole field spraying just water to find out the application rate. It's not good.
