Sprayer filling tank

Hello all, just thought that you might like to see a few photos of a sprayer filling arrangement that I've been putting in over the last few weeks.

I've set it up so that we can suck out of either tank and fill one or both tanks.

In total there's ~3000l which should speed things up with the sprayer (800l tank)

I should say that I'm definitely not a plumber, but it should do the job.

Yep ballcock inside each tank.

Assuming it’s mains water, have you put a letterbox shaped outlet, below the level of each ballcock, to ensure the water spills out in the event of a ballcock failing, rather than possibly contaminating the mains water source?

If not, it might be sensible to have the thread deleted.;)

Yeah, I had a clipboard warrior from the water board wander in to do a random inspection....

It's gravity fed from a tank which is fed from the mains, so not direct. However, we had another visit from the water board man - all is OK, but we do need to add an overflow to each tank.

They're mad keen that everything is to the regs on farm - in case the pressure drops and sucks back into the network.

In the meantime, their underground pipe network resembles something not dissimilar to a sieve, each leak being a potential source of contamination if the pressure drops.
