Spread a bale maxi with 6ft round bales and bale weights

We have a spread a bale maxi that we have only ever put 4x4x8 squares through. We get on well with it but a lack of straw storage has made us wonder if we’d be better making 6ft rounds that can sit outside. How do they go through the spread a bale and are they much slower than the squares. Also our squares are never massively dense because the straw can be average quality sometimes and we get 450-520kgs from a mf190 with the load at 200-240. What weights do people get from a 6ft rounds?
