Spread a bale problem

I got 2013 spread a bale that has jammed solid in the front spinner one moves ever so little and the other solid can just say turn it with a chain on it any one have any idea to what it is before I go striping it in to bits

Probably string wrapped tight in the bearings.
Doesn’t take much to knacker them.
