Spreading fert??

Is it ok to spread fert with no rain forecast next week?? Does it take any harm just sat on the grass? Cheers

Dews are still very heavy in the morning. So should be ok. Got loads to next week. Cooler temps will make me feel better about as well

I spread it yesterday on some grassland, fully expecting it to have gone with last night's dew.

What sort of fertiliser?
If it's urea, it would probably be better to hold off. If it's Nitram, the dew will take it in.

I was concerned about this but spread a couple bags of urea just before dark the other night. It was gone by morning - can't think it went anywhere but downward over night as night time temps have been well down with slight frost and heavy dew.
Probably wrong, usually am.
But wouldn't be so keen to do it early in the day.
