Combined them beginning of October at about 20% moisture rolled and applied prop corn. They would have done 1.8 t . They went in and just kept growing. Good strong plants they were . Nearly fed them all now , so I will be looking for some I think . Can't decide weather get rid cattle for 6 months and sell the 1000 quads of barley straw that is still in the shed £££££££ :LOL::LOL:

Interesting, what rate of propionic acid did you use? How did they keep? Did you roll them as required or while applying the acid?
Ref not keeping cattle for 6 months, if the beef price moves upwards it might cost you far more to get back in than you will get for the straw.

10 litres a ton , crimped straight away and put in shed with plastic sheet on floor and upsides . Not on top though. They come out like a 50p piece and keep fine . Even baled the straw . Have ag bagged um in the past if bit damper. Kelvin cave advised me . I upload some pics if I can
I probably wouldn't want get back in after 6 mths off :cool:
