Statutory sick pay

I've no one employed but employers are going to have to pay people to stay off work because of coronavirus

Its rubbish though at something like £94 a week won't even pay half my mortage a month so i will keep on working and i will take it as paid holiday if i have to

I wish I could employ myself rather than self employ... all the benefits - sick pay, pension contributions, holiday pay.... those of us who are self employed should be given increased tax free and basic rate tax allowances!

How many will use any sneeze and sniffle as a excuse to stay of work for 2 weeks ,even if they havent got the lurgy

I thought that but £94 a week wont encourage a lot not to work will it
