Steam Cleaner recommendations

I am looking to buy a steam cleaner for washing tractors and vehicles etc. for use perhaps twice a week.
Has anybody got any recommendations?
Previously had Kranzle cold pressure washers that last precisely 367 days from new, and currently an Ehrle which is about 5 years old and run faultlessly. We do have 3 phase if desired.

Had a old hot 3 phase clean well for years good machine but burner rotted out so bought a Mac avant lately seems a good machine and is also 3 phase. I always think 240v ones don’t have the volume of water

You'll not go far wrong with either Clean well, Nixon or Dirtdriver. The dirtdriver will probally be the most expensive. They are all fairly simple machines which are easy enough to work on. Go for what you can get repaired locally if nothing else.

No experience of the others but have a Nixon here after a troublesome Alto, that always had something wrong with it.
Bought over the phone, delivered a week later, never been any bother since.
Only downside is that its either cold or boiling hot, no inbetween. Knew that when I got it, but sometimes warm but not boiling would be handy.

Another vote for MAC Avant. We got a three phase one from JR Powercleanjng in Kempston. Really impressive performance. 30 m of hose and Got a quick release snow foam Lance for it too which does a brilliant job and saves loads of TFR.

Great service from JR too as someone left ours turned on overnight and burnt out all the seals in the pump [emoji85][emoji85][emoji85]. Turned it round in 24 hours.

Bought a Nixon last year. Biggest single phase model. Was 'ok' but was slightly disappointed. 3 Phase would have been the better option. Soon flogged it and bought a Rapier Diesel cold water washer. From what ive learned its as much about flow as pressure if not more. New one has 21l/min compared to i think 14 on the Nixon. Dont even run the new one at full power. Highly recommended bit of kit can also take it anywhere with an IBC! Not cheap but you get what you pay for most of the time.

Nilfisk here also, will be about 5 years old now and been faultless. Has auto leak detection/shut off for if it gets left on by accident. Would have another.

Why move from Ehrle If it’s been faultless? German quality looks a well made machine. I am looking at a 3 phase Ehrle much more flow of water for not a lot more money. Very similar cost to the Avant
