Any suggestions on best way to frame out the steel , will possibly be looking at using roof space as office area , roof will be slated

Yes. Out of interest more than need:)

45' by 22' Shufflebotham frame. 3' cavity brick wall, inner leaf inside steelwork web. Topped by Oak framing (because I had some Oak and wanted to experiment). 12mm plywood skin then 75mm Celotex foam. Vertical battens secured through the foam with standoff screws. Exterior clad with feather edge board. Roof 75mm twin wall insulated box section on timber purlins with insulated roof lights.
You need a steeper pitched roof than standard agricultural for usable loft space.

Absolutely cracking building you've done there.

Would be interested to see how it looks externally, as thinking of doing something similar for my garage.

I built one 12 years ago for a garage. I didnt want to be looking out the kitchen door at a steel insto-shed and wanted to build it myself.

I figured I was a better fabricator than carpenter so built three As from 100x50 box and then filled between them with 4x2 studs. outside is pressure treated shiplap pine, then breather felt, 4 inches of wool and 1/2 inch ply. painted the whole thing white and painted 90% of the floor. the remaining 10% never got done but I eventually buried it under cabinets.

it's 13somethingx20. the whole thing was designed to be just smidge smaller than Irish exempted development for a domestic garage.

Fairly boring. I'll dig out some more photos. The grain barn behind it went for housing under part Q so most of the workshop is now sat on pallets!
