Whereabouts in Devon are you? Dyfed have a branch there. You could also try Parker Steel (depending on what you want, stock lengths are generally available next day from them). There's Pulham steels across the border in Dorset and also AJN steelstock in Henstridge

Dyfed are very good and cover most of Devon.

There us also an outfit at Hill Barton Business Park near Exeter that are good but can’t remember their name right now!!
