Sticking patches on umbilical hose

I’m sure I read on here somewhere about people sticking patches onto lay flat hose with special glue and or tape, I can’t find it now, can anybody fill me in with any details of what you do, products you use and how well it works.

only looking to cover a couple of pin holes but I’ve installed a separator and the watery stuff is finding them.

thanks

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping for something a little simpler than a sleeve for small holes with the added bonus that it doesn't slide up the pipe when reeling

Wonder would Denso tape be any good for a temporary fix to keep going while pumping.

Pulling a patch down a long length of hose is always a ball ache

i read the same post. it was dry the pipe, stick some of that extremely stick heavy duty tape over the hole, let it dry. spray the area with spray can adehisive. pull a big sleeve over it. block the ends of the pipe, fill pipe with compressed air and leave for 12 hours.
