Hi Everyone
I have a Stiga Tornado 2108HW that won’t start and when I try to start it, the positive lead on the battery is very hot and smoking causing the top of the battery to start melting .
What causes this and is there a solution please?

Could be a major short in the starter motor or the engine is partially seized and you're asking the starter to turn to much of a load...
