Any Brands I should avoid whilst looking to get a good deal on standard C8/80/15 stock fence?

Tornado or X fence (McVeigh P) will be the best but the dearest.
Estate wire and Hamptons would be next in line.
Uniwire would be at the back.
Rylock sold out to Hamptons and never tried MRT.

Arcelor Mittal is a global steel producer and your right, they are one of tornados suppliers. Arcelor also own Estate wire so supply themselves with wire.
There is more to netting than just the wire, it's how well it's made into netting and the companies response to any problems that may arise.

Pun, You have knocked the nail on the head there, quality of fence manufacture and after sales are key, since buying the farm I have used three different manufactures, and believe me some wire has stretched so easily, and others have ver poor galvanising!
I have drawn my own conclusion over every aspect of Quality, after sales, and delivery times and punctuality, and there is one clear winner for me... so hopefully will be adding to our list of services as a supplier, watch this space...
