Have you tried Fred Allerton? He’s in Wigan area does a lot of beet but worth asking

Unfortunately Fred Ollerton died last year whilst on holiday in Canada.Ross,I would have thought spuds or fodder/sugar beet would be cheaper out of Yorkshire to you.Less transport costs.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I never met Fred but I have had beet off him for years and had many a good conversation on the fone to him once a week or so through the winter
