I bought a new slug pelleter yesterday, and I'm wondering if anyone has some base settings for wet process mini pellets (using Adama's 'Enzo', but anything similar) at 3.5 to 4 kg/ha.

Forward speed
Fan speed (vario controller)
Bout width
Feed rate slide setting
Left / right bias
Anything else I've missed

Thanks.

Not sure I can really help as my fan jet 65 is about 10 years old. It is electric controls on a quad but fan speed isn't variable. I have the shutter on about position 3 and drive at 30kph to spread 5kgs/ha of wet process mini pellets(old draza size) at 12m with no left/right bias.
Because mine is older there is only one hopper opening but I think newer ones have two, so not sure my settings will help you.

Surely if it's new you will have an operators manual with setting charts in it [emoji848]

I have "RTFM", such as it is, and there isn't a chart to be found.

You would think for a 'machine costing the thick end of a grand, that Stocks would have bothered to generate some charts...

PS- Thanks Lee (y)

I would get in touch with stocks as our book has full set up guide, spread charts and parts list but here's a few pics of the charts if any use

Good luck contacting stocks for spreading charts. I tried last year and got passed from pillar to post and no body rang me back. I gave up in the end, I brought a new Pelleter from bullock tillage instead. My old one is on eBay at the moment if anyone is looking for a bargain.
