strokers.

I went through a drive through in a Loadall once. Had to reverse through though, as the door was on the wrong side.

A few years ago, my father was trundling down a local 'A' road with his tractor and little baler, on the way to bale some hay.

As he pulled into the layby, inwhich was the field entrance, a BMW pulled up behind him, with some little flashing lights in the grill.

Out jumps plod, and gives him a lecture about how he was driving too slowly on the road, and he should have a flashing beacon, he was a hazzard, causing people to dangerously overtake.

He has three cars follow him, one of them was this truncheon, on the half a mile ish of 'A' Road he drove on that day.

He went on and on, and after th lecture, sat in the car and watched Dad turn into the field, doubting that he was going to, and was going to carry on his journey of chaos and mahem in rural North Wales.

He proper upset the old man.

Good job though, if it were me on the tractor, I'd be in a jail now.

Should have told them to charge him with an offence or 'go forth and multiply'. Just goes to show there are arseholes in all walks of life, police included.

Yep.
They don't like it when you tell them you'd like to go to the police station there and then to sort things out in such situations.
Not long in back tracking if they think a rap from a superior officer for being arseholes might come their way.

I bet those plods would have had palpitations if they came across this chap who parked here as his wagon wouldn't fit in MacDonalds car park!

I guess next time dont tell them you have finnished work! That your still working and then it cant be private use!!

what a pair of yello f**kwits!!

Having seen this on Facebook I am wondering wether it's a true story.
Did a police officer really say that even the police aren't allowed to stop for food or drink whilst working?
As has been noted, most of us have seen police stopping for food whilst in their panda cars so presumably at work/ on duty, so any police officer would know this is a regular occurrence. Therefore if they did indeed say that they were making stuff up on the spot to make a point or as many would describe it, talking rubbish. Now I don't know what the official stand point is on this but id have thought the public who the police are employed to serve would have a right to expect not to be spoken to like that by an officer of the law.

If this did indeed happen as stated on Facebook the police officers involved should be reported to their superiors.

Local farmer was seen pulling into the garage. When he came out of the shop, plod stopped him and asked what he had stopped for. He had purchased a farmers guardian paper, so was in the clear as it was a trade paper, if it had been the daily, we would have booked you, plod informed him!
