Store lambs now?

Im looking at buying some lambs ideally under 25kg to fatten and butcher myself for retail.
With spring lamb sales usually not offering anything under 35kg, and store lamb sales not until the back end of the year, how best could I go about this?

Speak to farmers, probably in a dry area that will want to offload or you may speak to someone that has lost land etc and needs to get rid of stock quick

I don't know where in the country you are but a ewe sold with a strong single lamb at foot would probably get you fat lambs fastest. Cull ewe prices are good or go into mutton as well? Mutton burgers are fantastic. I bet your punters would love them.
